Pizza Night: Sept 27, Nov 22

    Dinner & Overnights: Oct 25/26. Dec 13/14

PASJ is a fun space for social-justice minded youth in grades 7-12th to hang out in community and eat good food while focusing on a justice-oriented theme. We weave in progressive Christian theology and other spiritual traditions and practices. This is a space to have downtime from school and activities, and also to think about big issues that affect youth and our world. You do not have to believe or identify as a Christian to attend, although we do ask for openness to think about and explore your own sense of spirituality and community through our activities.

This year, we’ll focus on water, justice issues, and how our UCC tradition emphasizes care for all of creation- from streams and lakes, to oceans and atmosphere, and all of the life that rely on water. This might include time outdoors by water, water balloons, conversations with water activists, documentaries, and planning for a 2025 group trip. Plus, the usual hanging out, games, ping pong, and movies!

Our Whole Lives (OWL) planning is on hold for the fall– we may have a few mini-retreat/sessions later in the year. More to come.

We are looking for people to help cook or provide foods for pizza nights and sleepovers, and to be involved with activities. If have other ideas or feel called to help, let me know. Contact Kristin at

The church is a lot like Noah’s ark. We are to shelter, care for, and feed those who are caught in life’s storms.
